SARF completed its call for research proposals for the 2011/12 period in late 2011, and has now contracted research in the following project areas:
- SCOTTISH AQUACULTURE’S UTILISATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCES
- SEDIMENT SULPHIDE RESPONSE TO ORGANIC LOADING
- MONITORING AND ERADICATION OF INVASIVE AND NON-NATIVE SPECIES IN AQUACULTURE UNITS
In addition SARF is sponsoring a session on assessment of fish migratory pathways at the World Fisheries Congress, to be held in Edinburgh in May 2012.
